FeMnNiAl, a compositionally complex alloy, in close to having an equimolar composition, was prepared bulk and thin-film forms. Arc melting under argon used for form preparation. The alloy produced by Ion Beam Sputter Deposition on silicon substrate at 620 K. X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) were assess the material crystallinity. Both forms display single-phase are crystalline state. has BCC lattice with constant 4.08 Å. Dark field TEM image reveals nanotexturing. potentiodynamic polarisation 0.6 moles NaCl H2SO4 shows that open circuit potential (against saturated calomel electrode) room temperature is approximately - 0.21 V. demonstrated be nobler than 304 SS (by 0.1 V) develops passivation layer corrosive solutions. Nanoindentation test FeMnNiAl thin film high hardness 11.7 GPa. It anticipated combined ability can make coating viable candidate protection of metallic constructions erosive environments
